About Me:
Caitlyn C., Age 10

Caitlyn C.

I hate my JA, yet I love it. It's making me stronger, and I now realize how lucky I am compared to other kids with cancer or diabetes. I do my best to stay happy even when everyone else gets to do things that I can't do anymore. One of my best friends was making fun of me and teasing me about how I can't do everything she can, now that I have JA. I felt so bad. I went home and cried. But after taking my mom's advice, I figured out a way to get past and handle everything that this has thrown my way. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!!!
